How does our Light therapy lamp work?
Make yourself comfortable in front of the Ludmila lamp, select the light therapy mode on your Hipmind app. Configure your session using the application or select an already recorded session. We advise you to set a minimum of 2,500 lux. The recommended use is generally an intensity of 10,000 lux at 30 cm from the face, the equivalent of summer sun.
In order to facilitate the absorption of light by the retina, it is imperative to keep the eyes open throughout the session and to install the lamp slightly above the line of the eyes. During a light therapy session, it is not necessary to stop your activities. You can read or continue your work without any problem, as long as you do not make long trips
Light therapy sessions are practiced at any time of the day, even if those in the morning are more effective in the treatment of seasonal depression. The practice of light therapy in the evening is reserved only for people with jet lag or who tend to fall asleep too early and wake up too early.
